HAPPY HALLOWEEN ~ HATEmale. ~
Sitting proudly in our No. 1 spot - the film we're digging the most this year - Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining"! If you have even the slightest difficulty remembering this movie, all the way through, The Overlook Hotel has a reservation, just for you. Kubrick created a more-than memorable, eerie, atmospheric masterpiece w/this one! Undeniably, one of the greatest horror movies of all time! The Shining remains a product of something special. something that even today's "horror movies" fail to capture. Despite over-sized budgets & the modern technology of today, it still remains incomparable. Ladies & Gentlemen: I ask that you join me through a few scenes of this years No. 1 - respectively, of course. & may I suggest you roll your pants up a bit? After-all, this is the Blood Flood. Personally, one of my all time favorite scenes in any horror movie. So please, send Mr. Grady, Mr., Delbert Grady our regards... *Poor Video Quality On This One* 'Til next year ~ HATEmale. ~ The original Nightmare On Elm Street. I picked The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Yea, I've always had a taste for the finer things in life. A week later both VHS' became mine. My older Brother was never big into that sorta' stuff - not like me. My Mother used to hide Nightmare On Elm Street. She never wanted me watching it. I'd usually find it, only to have it really creep me out. One of the only movies that did. If I couldn't find it, my Grandfather would. We'd watch it right after she left for work. As soon as that mini-van backed down the drive-way, we'd pop it in. You see, he'd get just as excited as I would. Memories. There's so, so many scenes from this movie that always spooked me - here's (1) of 'em... The Incredible Melting Man - Trailer (1977 good movie)! |
